The idea that reality is a simulation is fucking stupid

No one ever seems to answer these questions: a simulation from where? From what? How is it created and sustained? If we haven't even successfully made our own simulation, or seen the "real reality" our simulated reality comes from, what basis do we even have to say everything is a simulation?

It's just a pseudo-intellectual thought experiment that has no way of being addressed, and as far our experience is concerned, is entirely useless.

Edit: I'm surprised at how salty this makes people. I'm calling a pseudo-intellectual contemplation stupid. Get over it.
