What’s an opinion that’ll get you banished from the fandom?
I know there have been a morbillion of these posts lately, but they’re so much fun.
Also, I’d like to see actual hot takes. Not “diamond and pearl are bad games,” or “I didn’t enjoy SW/SH.” I feel like those are pretty common ones.
I’ve got a couple:
1) I’d love to see another Fire/Fighting starter. Not because I like the combo. But because I love when companies troll their fans, just as they did with Dudunsparce.
2) we have Pokémon cuter than Eevee. Not to say it isn’t cute, but we’ve had cuter Pokemon by now. See Rowlet, Popplio, Shinx, Cyndaquil, Emolga, Minccino, Spheal, Piplup, Oshawott.
3) speaking of the little guy, I think Oshawott’s line are some of the most inspired water starters, up there with Empoleon. I think a sword wielding samurai otter/sea lion hybrid is one of the most creative combinations we’ve ever seen. While Blastoise and Swampert are definitely cool, I don’t think they’re nearly as creative. Of course I would think that, look at my username, but I think my point stands.
Anyways, that’s it for me! If you don’t agree with my takes, that’s okay! To each their own :] just be polite and understanding with one another.
