I'm being priced out of anything that brings joy to my life. Anyone else feel that way?
I'm single with no kids and make 23 dollars an hour and i can barely afford basic necessities and even fewer small scale luxuries. I barely leave my house except to visit family and go to work so im not wasting money on frivolous things. I feel like all i can afford to do is work, sleep, eat at home, and use free content as entertainment. I can't afford anything i used to enjoy from a few years ago. I cut all streaming services, no longer go out to eat, no longer go see movies or anything else that requires a ticket and concessions. I can't even buy things at the grocery anymore that brought me a bit of happiness. I know its junk, but even chips and soda are way too expensive for what they are. Life is just so depressing now.
