Red ants took this sand looking thing out of my charger overnight

I noticed my charger stopped working and seems there was a bunch of red ants going into it. I unplugged it last night and put it down somewhere to find that the next day it looks like they got this grey soft (looks like kinetic sand) thing out of my charger.
